Gold Shield Exteriors provides the following professional contracting services:

• Roofing Services: Installation, repair, replacement, maintenance, cleaning, and emergency services
• Gutter Services: Installation, repair, replacement, cleaning, maintenance, and gutter guard systems
• Siding Services: Installation, repair, replacement, cleaning, and maintenance of various siding materials
• Emergency Services: Urgent repairs for storm damage, leaks, and other exterior emergencies
• Consultations and Estimates: Professional assessments and detailed project estimates

All services are performed by licensed, bonded, and insured professionals in accordance with Washington State building codes and industry standards.

Free Estimates: We provide free, detailed estimates for all services. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise specified.

Non-Binding Nature: Estimates are preliminary assessments and are not binding commitments until a formal written contract is executed by both parties.

Contract Requirements: All work must be authorized through a signed written contract that specifies scope of work, materials, timeline, payment terms, and warranty information.

Changes to Scope: Any changes to the agreed-upon scope of work must be documented in writing and signed by both parties before implementation.

Payment Schedule: Payment terms are specified in each individual service contract. Typical payment structures may include deposits, progress payments, and final payment upon completion.

Accepted Payment Methods: We accept cash, checks, credit cards, and financing options where available. Online payments are processed through secure third-party providers.

Late Payments: Late payments may be subject to interest charges as specified in the service contract and permitted by Washington State law.

Liens: We reserve the right to file mechanic's liens in accordance with Washington State law for unpaid balances on completed work.

Workmanship Warranty: We provide warranties on our workmanship as specified in individual service contracts. Warranty periods vary by service type and are detailed in writing.

Material Warranties: Materials are covered by manufacturer warranties. We will assist customers with warranty claims but are not responsible for manufacturer defects.

Warranty Conditions: Warranties are contingent upon proper maintenance, normal wear and tear, and compliance with manufacturer specifications. Warranties may be voided by unauthorized modifications or repairs by other parties.

Warranty Claims: All warranty claims must be submitted in writing and allow reasonable time for inspection and resolution.

Our Insurance: Gold Shield Exteriors maintains comprehensive general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. Certificates of insurance are available upon request.

Property Access: By engaging our services, you grant us reasonable access to your property for the duration of the project. You are responsible for securing pets and removing valuable items from work areas.

Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by Washington State law, our liability is limited to the contract price of the services performed. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

Customer Insurance: We recommend customers verify their homeowner's insurance coverage before beginning work and notify their insurance company of any planned improvements.

Permitted Use: Our website is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate service requests. You may not use the website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage or impair the website.

Intellectual Property: All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is owned by Gold Shield Exteriors or used with permission. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

User-Generated Content: By submitting reviews, photos, or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use such content for marketing and promotional purposes.

Good Faith Resolution: We are committed to resolving disputes amicably and in good faith. Customers are encouraged to contact us directly to address any concerns.

Mediation: If direct resolution is not possible, disputes may be submitted to mediation through a mutually agreed-upon mediator in Clark County, Washington.

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any legal proceedings must be conducted in the courts of Clark County, Washington.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our website or services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

For existing contracts, modifications to these Terms will not affect the terms of signed agreements unless mutually agreed upon in writing.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be replaced with a valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent.
