What does the HardiePlank 30-year warranty cover?
The HardiePlank 30-year limited warranty covers manufacturing defects in the siding substrate and damage from hail and termites. The ColorPlus Technology finish has a separate 15-year limited warranty covering peeling, cracking, and chipping. The warranty is transferable to new homeowners and requires correct installation and proper maintenance.
How do I register my siding warranty?
Register your warranty within 60 days of installation completion. We provide registration forms and can help you complete the process to ensure full coverage for your HardiePlank® siding.
What's the difference between material and workmanship warranties?
Material warranties (30 years for HardiePlank®) cover manufacturing defects. Our workmanship warranty covers installation issues, proper flashing, and moisture protection.
